If you have dry skin, we recommend using ATODERM CREAM ULTRA, which is ideal for moisturising and nourishing normal to dry skin all year round. The formula contains active ingredients to reinforce the skin barrier, providing immediate comfort and 24-hour hydration. It can be used by the whole family and applied daily after showering.  

For very dry skin prone to atopic eczema, opt for ATODERM INTENSIVE BALM, which is specially formulated to restore the skin barrier, soothe irritation and itching sensations. 

We recommend applying body moisturiser after every shower, and ideally in the morning and evening if you have dry or very dry skin. If you go to the swimming pool, Atoderm Intensive Balm can be applied before, creating a barrier against chlorinated water that dries the skin, and again after you shower.

It’s usually best to apply a dab of cream on each part of the body: one for each arm, leg, the abdomen, back and décolleté. But this varies depending on the type of product, your size and skin type.

Massage the product in until it has been completely absorbed to ensure the skin is properly moisturised and your epidermis has regained its softness. If you have very dry skin and suffer from atopic eczema, BIODERMA dermatologists recommend using the 3-6-9 method: 3 pushes on Atoderm Intensive Balm bottle to moisturize a baby's body, 6 for a child and 9 for an adult.

Babies and young children have very delicate skin that tends to be dry, as it produces little sebum. It therefore needs to be moisturised after every bath to keep it soft and prevent the appearance of dry patches and irritation. If your child has very dry skin with atopic eczema, Atoderm Intensive Balm has been specifically formulated to intensively nourish and soothe itching sensations. It can be used from birth.
