Cellular protection image
Blocks free-radicals reactions

To protect itself from cellular damage related to sun exposure, the skin relies on natural protective mechanisms that can sometimes prove to be insufficient.

The Cellular protection blocks free-radicals reactions, which leads to the protection of cellular membranes. It helps limitate the photo-ageing effect on the skin and improves the skin barrier function.

FAQ

Your most frequently asked questions about Invisible Mist SPF50+

The effectiveness of sun protection largely depends on how much product you apply to the skin. The official recommendations from the Skin Cancer Foundation are to apply 2 mg of sunscreen per square centimetre of skin. For an adult, this means 5ml (approximately one teaspoon) for each arm, leg, body front, body back and face (including neck and ears). That equates to a total of 35ml (approximately seven teaspoons) for a full body application.

The sun’s rays can damage the skin in many ways from sunburn and premature ageing to allergies, cellular damage and an increased risk of skin cancer. During prolonged or repeated sun exposure, the body’s natural defence mechanisms are not enough, making external protection essential. Applying sunscreen to all exposed areas, along with wearing protective clothing, a ha, and sunglasses, helps prevent both short- and long-term skin damage. The simple answer: everyone, at every age. Sunscreen is especially important for: Babies and children, whose skin is highly vulnerable and not yet equipped to defend themselves from UV damage. Fair-skinned individuals, who burn more easily and need protection even during short exposures. People with darker skin, who are also at risk of long-term damage, since every person has a limited “sun capital” that depletes over time. For complete care, it’s also recommended to use an after-sun product to rehydrate and soothe the skin after sun exposure.
